The Aransas County EMS is promoting new blue reflective address signs for homes and businesses in Aransas County to help them better find those seeking emergency treatment.
"Our goal is to number the entire county," said EMS Personnel Director Patricia Arnold. "We're tired of not being able to get to people who need us."
The 911 reflective emergency response signs can be hung vertically or horizontally. Address numbers can be centered or offset.
EMT Joe Garza said if one orders his or her sign with offset numbers, then it can be hung so emergency crews can see the numbers from both directions.
The signs which are highly visble day or night, can be purchased for $15 by call the EMS office at 729-2112. |
