Aransas County EMS Junior Members in training
The Aransas County EMS Junior Program is sponsored by Aransas County EMS. The Junior Program is composed of young men and women who will become oriented and trained to assist in the medical Field.
The Junior Program was launched with the aspirations of getting the younger generation involved with service to the community and specifically in the Emergency Medical Service field.
Our goal is to prepare those that become involved in the program to be the safest and the best trained EMS personnel that they can be; for their sake and for the sake of all of the people in the communities that they will be serving.
If you, or someone you know are interested in becoming a Junior Program Member:
- You must have a sponsor
- Junior members must be at least 14 years of age to join. Membership ends on the members 18th birthday.
- All junior members must submit a completed volunteer application packet before consideration for entry into the program. Upon submission and approval from the Program Advisor, the final decision and invitation to participate will come from the Personnel and Operations Director.
- All junior members must maintain an updated parental consent form at all times. This form shall remain on file with the Program Advisor.
Concerns about eligibility for the program will be taken on a case by case basis. At any time the Personnel and/or Operations Director can make changes in the eligibility requirements for this program.
